FAQs

How Fit Must I Be
  • We will cater to all levels of fitness and all categories of runners (Beginner to Advanced).
  • Please exercise at the intensity which is not too difficult for you to handle.
  • Do not worry about being at the 'back of the pack' as we should exercise at the appropriate level according to our body's current ability/condition.
Safety
  • Exercising at altitude places additional stress on the body.
  • If you have any doubts in your health condition, we recommend you consult your medical professional before participating.
  • If you feel unwell during the program, please slow down/stop.  You may be sent to the nearest medical clinic/hospital if necessary.
  • We will not be held responsible for any injury/death sustained as a result of your participation in the Altitude Running Training (A.R.T.) sessions.
  • The altitude at which we will train at (about 1,500m above sea level) is unlikely to cause Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).  However, if you are prone to AMS or unsure if you are, you may wish to consult your medical professional.
